Gerecht Lab Goes to BMES

The Gerecht Lab had several students attend the 2018 Annual Meeting of the Biomedical Engineering Society in Atlanta, Georgia on October 17th-20th. Three of our senior students, Morgan Elliot (4th year PhD Student, BME), John Jamieson (4th year PhD Student, ChemBE), and Justin Lowenthal (4th year MD/PhD Student, BME), gave exciting presentations about their current work at the conference!

Morgan Elliot Presents Her Work at BMES Titled: Natural Acellular and Cellular Small-Diameter Tissue Engineered Vascular Grafts as Arterial Conduits

John Jamieson Presents His Work at BMES Titled: Investigating the Effects of Direct Pericyte Contact at the Blood-Brain Barrier (BBB) Using hIPSC-Derived In Vitro Models

Justin Lowenthal Presents His Work at BMES         Titled: Engineered Heart Slices Represent a Syncytial Model of Arrhythmogenic Cardiomyopathy
