Congratulations Morgan for the 2018 BMES award!!

Morgan has been selected to receive the 2018 BMES Career Development Award, which provides a complimentary registration to the 2018 BMES Annual Meeting and a travel stipend. Morgan will present her work on vascular grafts.

Congratulations to Danielle Zamalin, mentored by doctoral student Eugenia Volkova and Nicole Zambrana-Garcia, mentored by doctoral student Bria Macklin, for your successful completion of the INBT REU experience in the Gerecht Cardiovascular Tissue Engineering Lab.  The poster and oral presentations today in the Johns Hopkins Career, Academic and Research Experiences for Students (CARES) symposium were fantastic!

Congratulations Rebecca Brody

Congratulations to Rebecca Brody, a junior from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, for winning second place at the National Junior Humanities and Science Symposium.  Her work entitled, “The Effect of Hypoxia on Stem Cell Derived Endothelial Cells,” was ranked as one of the best in the biomedical science division!
